INFORMATION: This post is only a reference-post for my upcoming novel Season Fragments. Every information has been made up by yours truly and redistributing ANYTHING of it is PROHIBITED.

It took me some time to go over the protagonists of the story and I finally have come up with a good bunch of ideas. Since we have four Kingdoms, it'll be obvious that there'll be one protagonist for their respective Kingdom. And every Volume will feature one of the protagonists as well as it'll be focused on them.

I will not fully introduce them (such as their past) but give you a small information about them and what their role will be. More information may be published on Patreon.


DREW BLAZE - Winter Kingdom; former Knight and Drifter.

The first volume will be focused about him- he's the first protagonist that'll appear and the first protagonist that has been established so far. Drew is representing the Winter Fragment. He used to work as a Knight for the Winter Kingdom prior it's destruction by the Summer Kingdom. He's a Mage with the ability to travel through space and time. Mages with such ability are known as Drifters.

He has been traveling through space and time for two years until the original story takes place. Now he's been looking for three other Season Fragments. During the first volume, his true descent will be revealed and how he had to deal with it. He doesn't see himself as the Leader of the Season Fragments despite being destined as such. Drew is around 18-20 years old.


KISARAGI - Spring Kingdom; Samurai

Note: Kisaragi is FTM (Female-to-Male) transgender and I'll be mentioning this every now and then: I will use He-pronouns for Kisaragi.

Kisaragi is the second protagonist appearing in the story and will join Drew and his journey to find the Season Fragments. Kisaragi is the second Season Fragment and representing the Spring Fragment. He's not in good terms with his family which is why he ran away from them and became a Samurai. His true intentions are not to serve the Emperor, but to follow a popular Samurai who used to be his idol in his past.

He's now working as a seller for Katanas in Hinoka (a city of the Spring Empire). Just like Drew, he dreamt about the Nymph who told him that he's chosen to be the Spring Fragment and that he'd meet up with another Fragment very soon. Being skilled with the Katana, he's one of the most renowned Samurais out of the Spring Empire. He does not show much of his gender- however, he has to deal with the usual dysphoria and not being comfortable by being touched by men. Kisaragi is around 23-25 years old.


MAUDE ACHANTÉ  - Autumn Kingdom; Runaway Princess

Maude is the youngest of the Season Fragments and a princess of the Autumn Kingdom and representing the Autumn Fragment. However, she ran away from home after her parents gave birth to a girl and she's not supposed to become the Heiress anymore. Maude was the child of a concubine of her father, making her quasiroyale and not able to get on the throne for the sake of the family's lifeblood.

She smuggled herself into the Summer Kingdom and befriended Anouk- which happened about two years ago. Since the royals (and quasiroyals) are born with a small amount of magic, she's able to use the magic of the Forest Banshee, a renowned diety of the Autumn Kingdom. Maude is around 12-14 years old.


ANOUK - Summer Kingdom; Assassin

Her name seems very uncommon for someone who lives at the Summer Kingdom, but she sure reveals that she used to live in the Winter Kingdom before. However, she was kidnapped by one of the Summer Kingdom people when she was a child and grew up in the Summer Kingdom. She didn't change her name to keep the rest of her descent of the Winter Kingdom.

Anouk is associated with a resistance group that's targeting the Summer King. She's been taught by an assassin once after she arrived at the Summer Kingdom and is now avenging him since the Summer King has been executed him. She appears to be attracted by women only and is nice to little girls- not to get sexually or romantically involved with them, but due to her kind vein that's still existing despite her cold attitude. That's the reason why she could befriend Maude who had been living at the Summer Kingdom for two years and begging for food. Anouk is around 21-23 years old.
