SEASON FRAGMENTS WORLDBUILDING: The Winter Kingdom

INFORMATION: This post is only a reference-post for my upcoming novel Season Fragments. Every information has been made up by yours truly and redistributing ANYTHING of it is PROHIBITED.

Being the biggest Kingdom besides the Summer Kingdom, the Winter Kingdom lives in peace and for it's own profit. Not that it wants to associate with any of the other Kingdoms, it just prefers to be isolated and to stay out of any conflict.

The monarch of the Winter Kingdom is a young queen who has been reining over the Kingdom at a young age. The Kingdom lives from it's own perfection and beauty, however it does have some disadvantages like the slums where black market or prostitution has it's home. If it wouldn't be that, there are also the Medoranists- people who worship the diety Medora who prefer to shut out every kind of magic of the entire Kingdom.

The continent Siestro however needs the magic as their source, because without any magic the country can't have the power to keep everyone alive. It's like the energy source of everything and it is really important.

The Medoranists live at every kingdom, however it seems like the Winter Kingdom has more Medoranists since the magic source is stronger than on any other Kingdom.

The Winter Kingdom reminds of some cities in the United Kingdom as well as France and the people who live there are actually very nice. If there are any people from other Kingdoms visiting the Winter Kingdom, they get a very warm welcome and the residents gift them with a warm coat and a hot tea or hot chocolate. You immediately feel welcome and home at the Kingdom and would wish to never go back.

But being this hospitable is not an attempt to get more residents into the town. The Winter Kingdom is isolated and some people wouldn't even dare to visit it due to the very cold temperatures. It seems like the people of the Autumn Kingdom love to visit the Winter Kingdom because it's aware of the kindness and hospitality.

The most notable districts are the Longchamp District and the Ebony District. Both districts are well crowded, the former being known for the noble lifestyle and the latter for the stores and boutiques, being a well known shopping district.

The Royal District is where the queen is at home but you wouldn't be allowed to visit it unless it's an emergency or you'd get an invitation by the queen herself. This is a precaution because there were reports of assassins and thieves trying to sneak into the castle. The Royal District is heavily guarded and only the best sentinels and guards who have masted the Magic Degrees are allowed to guard the Royal District.
